Designer’s Story
Laurence has a passion for graphic design and finds joy in translating client needs and their strategies. Laurence enjoys bringing concepts to final art, by creating visually compelling and impactful strong design solutions.
Prior to foundingand operating Visual Art Graphics™, Laurence was gaining his graphic design industry experience. Laurence’s passion for art started at age 7 and has lived a creative life ever since.
Laurence graduated with a BFA degree in 1995 from California State University Fullerton, USA.
Laurence also attended ArtCenter College of Design, Pasadena, CA, and CSULB
for many art and illustration classes. Laurence the decided to transfer to CSUF to finish his studies as the school at the time had just started a brand new and highly respected Mac computer lab and classes to learn the brand new Adobe graphic software at its inception around 1993-1995.
From 1995 – 1999, Laurence held senior designer staff positions working for Golden Turtle Press, calendar publisher, and Palladium, Inc., software publisher.
Then, from 1999 – 2002, Laurence was hired as a contract designer at Red Advertising(RED), an award winning advertising, branding, and packaging agency. After a short time Laurence was invited to join the staff as a full time designer and art director.While at RED Laurence worked on advertising, design, branding, and packaging.
Laurence contracted with firms likeMcCann Erickson, Anthem worldwide/SGK, Young & Rubicam, and others, and contracted for two years with with Focus Design. Laurence has enjoyed many diverse design project experiences within multiple facets of the design industry.
Laurence also collaborated as senior designer withNutraceutical, Inc.,for two years, where he extended the Nature’s Life brand, designed and produced packaging, shelf talker display cards, POS product displays, designed trade advertising.

Recently, in 2026, Laurence decided to update his graphic design services and portfolio site with a fresh name, logo, and newly developed site.
Currently, Laurence has finished building a new brand mark and website for a local Landscape company.
Laurence has designed graphic works within the Oil, Tech and Energy industriesfor clients such as Equilibria, Carlson, and Syska Hennessy. Laurence has a well balanced design experience in industry work sectors that include technology, finance, B2B, healthcare, advertising, Education, marketing, product label, pharmaceutical, and food & beverage.
How Laurence Works
Laurence’s approach is to listen closely to his clients for what they need. Then, Laurence does his best to bring their vision to life!
Once Laurence has reviewed your Design Request we will typically reach back to you within 48 hours and will schedule a free short (up to 30 min) phone conversation to discuss project.
Then, if you are interested, Laurence will send you a free estimate for your project.
The work is then produced in a few design stages until final and maintains a schedule.
Over the years, Laurence has learned how to ask the right questions to create a brand business strategy, then he will implement sketches and then ultimately well crafted conceptual design solutions that match the client’s vision.
Design Approach
Laurence's approach to a successful business starts with well thought out concept. Understanding various cultures and human lifestyle patterns and traits are very important. Design elements, such as easy and clear navigation interfaces and friendly user experience make for a good looking site.
Laurence carefully checks color, texture, art, themes, styling, patterns, images and typography to create a highly polished and mistake free piece. Sometimes simple elegance is the solution and other times the design is more complex. Laurence creates graphics that have eye appeal and clarity.
Creative Process
Laurence believes that design evolves from opening the imagination to new concepts, developing ideas, innovative typography and font sensitivity, good composition and custom imagery that’s captivating and enhances the final piece.
The final stage is having patience to pay close attention to the final details. All files are very closely checked numerous times for correct images, size, resolution, color, style consistency, fonts, text blocks, spelling, and other production details.
Then, after a few more checks and approvals, your vision will be launched into the world.
